Horsey, horsey, don't you stop,
Just let your feet go clippity clop. The tail goes swish and the wheels go 'round Giddy up, we're homeward bound. -- Nursery Rhyme |
She, her farm, and her ponies have been a refuge for many children over the years. They serve as our inspiration and her ponies as the foundation stock of all Pili-Pala Half-Welsh and Welara ponies.
Pineglen Farm was established in 1968 by Glenda Jo Truax. She began with the purchase of registered Shetland Ponies for her children.
As her children grew, so did the need for larger ponies. She crossed the Shetland mares with Arabian stallions, registering all stock half-Arab under the Pineglen prefix. The result of this cross was a beautiful and kind pony.
